ALUMANATION® 301
Alumanation® 301 is a heavy duty coating for the protection and waterproofing of metal structures such as roofs, side walls, storage tanks, bridges, structural steel, cranes, piping, electrical transmission towers, etc...

Alumanation® 301 is a solvent based premium grade industrial maintenance coating. It is formulated from specially processed asphaltic liquids, non-drying oils, a proprietary blend of natural and synthetic fibres and premium Leafing grade Aluminium.
Alumanation® 301 has been used world-wide since 1947 in all kinds of environmental and climatic conditions to protect metal from corrosion.

ADVANTAGES

High solid applied at a rate of 0.8 litres/sqm in one coat to a dry film thickness of 350 microns.

Surface prepration by high pressure power wash or power brushing. No sandblasting required.

Outstanding ability to wet and adhere to unprimed metal surfaces.

Aluminium pigment in Alumanation® 301 acts as a heat reflector and insulator.

Applied coating remains in good condition, even 20 years after it has been applied. The coating stays continuous and homogeneous with no cracking even in climates where the daily and annual variations in ambient temperature are very large.
One layer of the coating provides waterproofing, anticorrosion and encapsulation performance.
Has a complete range of compatible accessories. These accessories extend the range of industrial maintenance problems that can be solved with Alumanation® 301.
can be applied by heavy duty spray or brush application methods.
Good chemical resistance to both acids and alkalis.
Within 45 minutes of coating application, treated structure can withstand rain conditions.
Existence of 50 years of references world-wide on different substrates subjected to all types of environmental and climatic conditions. Almost all possible buildings owners and end-users, as well as all specifiers can visit a project somewhere in the world where Alumanation® 301 is solving a problem similar to the one they have or are working on.
Alumanation® 301 has series of independent approvals and certificates from various authority across the world stretching back more than 20 years. Such approvals and certification have given the product credibility for insurance backed guarantess that are avaible with Alumanation® 301.

CERTIFICATES

Alumanation® 301 has been used world-wide since 1947 in all types of climatic and environmental conditions. Long-term references, many aged 15 years and longer are available for all kinds of different industries and structures.
Alumanation® 301 has been tested and approved in official institutes in all major European countries. Some of these approval include:

- Bureau VERITAS approval
- Test certificate from "Staatliches Materialprüfungsamt" Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany
- Test Certificate from EMPA, Switzerland
- Passing ASTM B117, 1000 hours salt spray testing

PRODUCTS IN THE ALUMANATION® 301 SYSTEM

CORROTON RUST CONVERTER
An environmentally safe and waterbased rust converter that is apllied on the rusted surface. After approximately 3 hours, Alumanation® 301 can be sprayed directly onto the treated surface, without that the metal first must being rinsed with water.

RUSTOP METAL PRIMER
For metal structures, sometimes a primer is needed to ensure that all surfaces are coated. The red coloured fast drying Rustop Metal Primer is an excellent primer and its low viscosity enables it to penetrate easily into all nooks and corners.

ALUMAFLASH® ET POLYFLASH®
Two highly elastic self adhesive butyl bands, that are used before the application of Alumanation® 301 to repair and waterproof overlaps, joints, rustholes, connections, etc...
Alumaflash® has an aluminium foil surface and Polyflash® has a geotextile finish.

VULKEM® 116
A highly elastic one component Polyurethane mastic to be used to ensure waterproofing at expansion joints, connections to drains, walls, ventilation pipes, etc...
